Before coming to you, my wife and I had been in the worst car accident of our lives, getting rear-ended by an SUV probably going around 35 when it hit us. Our large sedan protected us from more severe injuries, but also gave the insurance company an excuse to deny the real ones that had us suffering even today, two years after the accident. We were never looking to make a profit from our injuries, and we had been trying to settle the case by me dealing directly with the insurance company representing the person who rear-ended me.
